Hand in Hand Afghanistan organization beneficiary awards by AMA

In December 2020, Afghanistan Microfinance Association (AMA), organized a competition contest of success stories for the best entrepreneurs who have been managing successful enterprises by using loans whether from a Microfinance Institution (MFI) or internal loan from a Saving Group.
Among the tens, Friba Ahmadi member of Asheyana self help group in Faqir Abad village, Mazar-e- Sharif city, supported by Hand in Hand Afghanistan Organization, was one of the candidates nominated by the HIHAO to the contest. The AMA assigned review committee interviewed and recognized her as the 3rd winner as Freba now works in a studio and also attends birthday and wedding parties for photo and videography and earns around AFN 10,000 per month. The committee also award Ms. Frishta Muradi the Village Enterprise Facilitator (VEF) who untiringly supported Friba in successfully running her enterprise.
The Awards containing appreciation letters and smart phones for each Ms Friba and Ms Frishta were provided at the AMA General Assembly meeting on December 15th, 2020 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul.
