HiH Af in partnership with the SDO and CAFOD have been awarded to implement the Households Adopt Sustainable Economic Livelihoods (HASEL) Project in Balkh and Herat Provinces from September 1st, 2019 till August 31, 2022. The project is co-funded by the Misereor, CAFOD and HiH International.
The project startup workshop was conducted in New Delhi, India on October 5-9, 2019 to orient project team on activities and work plan, revisit and refine the project work plan, learn more about project budget and financial management, plan development of the MEAL framework and baseline assessment, orient project team on grant compliance requirements including reporting timelines and templates and build relationships with each other across all 3 organizations.
The HiH Af Program, Project, M&E and Finance Managers attended the workshop. It is also planned that the project teams will get together and meet at the Project Progress Workshops every six months to share and review their achievements, challenges and learning from one another.
