Hand in Hand Afghanistan Organization (HIHAO) organized an environmental protection workshop for the Community Peace Council members of Wali Aser area. The training contained topics on: understanding the environment, Factors and resources the environment consists, Risks of environmental pollution on human and Prevention of environmental pollution. At the end of the workshop, the participants received a participation certificate from HIHAO. After the workshop, the Community Peace Council conducted their monthly meeting to discuss and resolve any arising social disputes which was observed by HIHAO staff. At the end of the meeting, the products of self-help group members were displayed to the peace council members for marketing purposes.
