Hand in Hand Afghanistan organizes the project reporting and closeout event in Herat province

Hand in Hand Afghanistan has been implementing the Creating Future Economic Prospects for Reintegration of Returnees and IDPs through the Layers Poultry Value Chain project in Herat province of Afghanistan targeting 1,750 poor and vulnerable returnees and IDPs in Injil, Karukh and Gozara districts and suburb of Herat city.
The project started in January 2019 and ended by February 2021 and is funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through Hand in Hand International.
HIHAO organized the project reporting and closeout event in Herat city where the project achievements were presented to the stakeholders and government authorities.
Sayed Azim Kiberzani, the representative of Herat in the parliament, Mrs. Sakina Husaini, the representative of the people in Herat provincial council, Director of Economy department, Director of Refugee and Repatriation and representative of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock department participated in this event.
The participants stated that HIHAO is one of the organizations whose activities are carried out in a transparent and proper manner to create jobs for deserving people, and they pledged their support in the implementation of future projects.
At the end Ms. Ziagol Yaghoubi, one of the project beneficiaries talked about her journey from the process of being included in the project, supports she received and how her life has changed.
HIHAO received appreciation certificates from the Repatriation and Refugees directorate of Herat province and Jebrael and Karukh CDCs.
