Hand in Hand Afghanistan’s Chairperson, Board Member and Country Director jointly visited project beneficiaries in Balkh province. They met the women entrepreneurs, life skills training classes and talked to the Self-Help Group members. They also visited enterprises established and developed with support from the projects in Abu Talib and Wali Aser areas of Mazar-e- Sharif.
The project beneficiaries talked about the importance of the projects for improving their lives.
The women entrepreneur said, “It is really gratifying that the Hand in Hand Afghanistan organization has provided us such a great opportunity. We receive trainings on entrepreneurship, essential toolkits and are enabled to form enterprises and improve our income”.
Hand in Hand Afghanistan is implementing the Household Adapted Sustainable Livelihood project in Wali Aser and the Socio-Economic Empowerment of Women and Men project in Abu Talib areas of Mazar-e-Sharif, Balkh province.
